Making Soap Gems

Soap Gems are entirely hand-made. No industrial manufacture could possibly replicate our Earth's Precious Stones so faithfully. Just like real Precious Stones, each Soap has it's own individual beauty, and no two are exactly alike. Nearly 180 steps are necessary to recreate in each Soap Gem the beauty that takes Nature millions of years. Each soap is then individually hand-hewn, and not moulded. This explains the slight variations in weight, as although the label indicates 170 gr., the real weight of each Soap is between 170 to 200 gr. The marbling, colours and reflections go all the way through each soap. As they gently cleanse, these exceptional soaps are slowly polished like stream stones until they become Bath Jewels, remaining just as beautiful until they weather completely away.
